84th Annual Celebration Honors Palm Springs Community Leadership and New Board of Directors

Palm Springs, CA - Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® (http://palmspringsregionalmls.com (http://palmspringsregionalmls.com)) held their 84th annual installation and awards ceremony at the Riviera Palm Springs Resort and Spa to recognize leadership and community involvement by members and staff including Life Time Achievement Awards. “This Board of Directors will be leading us through our 84th year as an organization,” says Randy Wiemer, Chief Executive Officer of Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS®, “We’re excited about the year ahead and the continued contribution to members and the community we can create.”

Award winners for 2012 included The President’s Award winner Kevin Stern (Desert Star Real Estate), The Pinnacle Award winner Becky Bowles (RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants), Business Affiliate of the Year to Melinda Tremaglio (Caravan Dispatch) and REALTOR® of the Year to Frank Alvarez (Greater Palm Springs Realty). Three members also earned the California Association of REALTORS® Members-for-Life Award for more than 25 years of active participation in Real Estate to Maryellen Hill, Dorothy Reed and Emanuel Segall.

The Board of Directors and Officers for 2013 include President John Burge (Windermere Real Estate), President Elect Dwayne Carrier (Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage) and Treasurer CR Silva (Windermere Real Estate). The directors are David Cantwell, Janice Kaminsky, Benjamin Leaskou, Jay “J” Johnson, Tim Welberry, Karen “Joy” Tabbah, Jim Webb, John Cyr, Robert Kalin and Kevin Stern.  

Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® also recognized staff members Diane Taylor and Amy McLaughlin for 17 years and 22 years of dedicated service to the Association respectively.

The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® is a group of real estate professionals and their business affiliates working to support each other and the residents of each city of the Coachella Valley from Palm Springs to Mecca.
