PRLog - Dec. 4, 2012 - EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Robert Kiyosaki, one of the most well-known personal finance experts in the world, is already rising to the top in Go Banking Rates' 12 Days of Finance poll to find the most popular personal finance expert of 2012.
Go Banking Rates has pitted Kiyosaki against 11 other world-renowned personal finance experts, including Suze Orman, Dave Ramsey and Clark Howard, to determine who readers consider to be the most important voice in the finance world. Each day, a financial guru is highlighted to give readers an overview of their background and financial philosophy. Readers can vote each day in December for their favorite finance expert, and Go Banking Rates will announce the winner January 1.
Known for his best-selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki’s popularity was proven when he was chosen by Go Banking Rates readers as their favorite personal finance expert of 2011.
With the 2011 title in hand, Robert Kiyosaki now lends his expert advice and unique financial perspective to Go Banking Rates as an expert contributor. In his articles, he shares financial teachings that emphasize financial freedom through investment, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
“I continue to ask the question: Why isn’t financial education taught in every school? Is it omission, due to ignorance, or commission of a crime?” Kiyosaki said in a quote to Go Banking Rates. His greatest advice? “Invest your time in education before you invest your money.”
That is where Kiyosaki’s passion lies: In providing financial education and tools that individuals can use to build prosperity and wealth. Kiyosaki has used his philosophy to establish the Rich Dad brand, through which he provides tools that include board games, programs, and videos to help people improve their financial literacy and implement financial knowledge in their own lives.
However, Kiyosaki's reputation is being put to the test once more with this year’s 12 Days of Finance poll. Though he currently holds the lead, there are still 28 days of voting left during which anything can happen.
