Salon Avenue Suites Requests Help In Supporting Three Charities This Holiday Season

These events, Stuff-A-Bus, Adopt-A-Senior, and Adopt-An-Orphan, ask that patrons of the participating businesses unify in their support and donate to help propel the events toward success. Donating to these special causes gives people the heartwarming feeling of knowing they helped children or seniors in need to have a better holiday.

Salon Avenue Suites (http://www.manta.com/c/mrsmbqg/salon-avenue-suites) is partnering with Cobb Community Transit (CCT) and Cobb County Department of Transportation to help make the 2012 Stuff-A-Bus event a success. The Stuff-A-Bus event is a memorable tour of local stops, where at each stop, businesses and their patrons 'stuff' new and unwrapped toys and food into the bus. It's symbolic of Santa Claus loading up his sleigh for distribution of presents all over the world. Most participants hold food and toy drives in November, prior to the bus arriving for donations. To donate food or new toys to this special event, please visit Acworth Health Park on Wednesday, December 5th from 12:30pm - 1:30pm.

The Roswell Nursing Center will benefit from this year's Adopt-A-Senior program, thanks to businesses like Salon Avenue Suites. Donations of $20 or more mean that one senior will receive a gift bag containing a festive poinsettia, a Christmas card, skin lotion or shaving cream, socks, a piece of fruit, and a stuffed animal. For some seniors, this could be the only thoughtful thing they receive during the holidays.

Salon Avenue Suites (https://www.facebook.com/SalonAvenueSuites) is hosting with Neighbor Love and E Cubed International, hoping to drive donations high enough to give gifts to 600 seniors this year. Please visit the Roswell Nursing & Rehab Center at 1109 Green Street, Roswell, GA on Thursday, December 13th, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm to make a contribution. The deadline to adopt a senior this year is December 15th.

Lastly, Salon Avenue Suites is also working with E Cubed International for the Adopt-An-Orphan initiative. They hope to sponsor 31 orphans through their collective donations, which will give each boy or girl sponsored a full outfit and shoes. The gifts will be distributed at a Christmas party held by hosts Neighbor Love and E Cubed International in Uganda, Africa. The suggested minimum donation of $50 can be made at http://www.ecubedintl.org/events, and the deadline to help these children is December 3rd.
