TheSquareFoot Continues To Add Available Commercial Space Listings for Prospective Tenants

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 3, 2012 - Houston, TX (December 3, 2012) - TheSquareFoot, a free online destination for businesses looking for office, retail, and industrial space to rent, has now reached over 6,000 available space listings in the Greater Houston area alone (http://www.thesquarefoot.com/houston).  This number represents almost half of the total Houston office market in terms of square footage according to TheSquareFoot founding team.  The commercial real estate technology company has recently added listings from firms such as Transwestern, EDGE Realty Partners, Cassidy Turley, and Braun Enterprises which will all add their Houston availability to TheSquareFoot’s current base of available space provided by firms such as Stream Realty, Brookfield Properties, NewQuest, UCR Moody Rambin, Hartman REIT, and Interra, among several others.

Launched in June of 2012, TheSquareFoot makes commercial real estate-space leasing easy for prospective tenants.  Users enter in their search criteria (i.e. type of space, location, size, and monthly budget) and are shown all of the spaces matching their requirements via a google maps interface.  They can inquire on individual spaces and be connected with the leasing agents or if they’d like to visit with a tenant broker, TheSquareFoot will refer them onto a pre-vetted specialist.  Since it’s launch, the commercial real estate website has seen its user base increase each month and has helped approximately 400 businesses search for space.
