Originally written for a male leading role, the script for "R.A.D.I.C.A.L.S." was modified to allow for a stronger female lead hero, a consistent theme in several of Bailey's recent film projects. Recognizing an increased industry preference for female lead characters, Bailey seeks to produce films that reflect the growing independence and influence of women of all ages.
"R.A.D.I.C.A.L.S." also marks the latest in a series of family friendly features by Bailey designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of movie-goers. For children and teens, "R.A.D.I.C.A.L.S." offers slick martial arts action set to a fun pop soundtrack.
