Jeddah December 3, 2012: We are back to competition for new rounds of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East. Rounds 3 and 4 will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 6th and 7th of December. The Saudi Falcons will be looking to improve the results that were scored in the first couple of rounds at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain and cant wait for the new challenge to start. Red Bull Athlete Prince Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal will be looking to score his first race win this season, on a track where he saw numerous victories in the past. Main competitor, Nabooda Racing’s Clemens Shmidt, is toping the standings after round 2 with 50 points. ATF trails him with 12 points and will be looking forward to overhaul this deficit. On the other hand, teammate Faisal Bin Laden is looking to capitalize on his strong round 2 performance in Bahrain. Faisal spent last year in the United Kingdom finishing his studies, which led him to miss a whole season of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East, is looking to get to grips, as quickly as possible in order to start challenging the top drivers.

Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal stated the following: “After two rounds in Bahrain, and after we have studied our competitors, we will make every effort to win in Abu Dhabi. We will follow a new strategy. We know that the championship is still at the beginning and all the drivers have the opportunity to compensate and collect more points. Our fight to retain the title started at the first 2 rounds in Bahrain and collecting every point will be vital for our hopes. May God be with us to score the win in Abu Dhabi.”

Faisal Bin Laden added: “With the grace of God we were able to take first place in the silver category at the second round in Bahrain after battling hard with Ziad Ashkanani who made the race, an exclusive duel between both of us. Our Target is to continue improving and to be climbing the overall ladder in every race. My target is to win both the Silver title and help my team win the title too. Although my teammate Prince Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal didn't take 1st place in Bahrain, we are only trailing our main competitor Nabooda Racing by 15 points, and Abu Dhabi gives us the opportunity to make up for the deficit. We have done some good preparations, and we are looking to improve in the championship and in the coming years.”
