Ironically Tracey’s usual co-driver Maureen Hascher will also be competing in the event sitting alongside her husband Pete Hascher with the 555 rally sport team. Maureen will also co-drive with Tracey and the TRS team at selected venues during the 2013 series. Tracey joked “I guess I have to let her husband get first preference when it comes to having a co-driver.”
Tracey and Tabitha met briefly in January 2012 at Sno* Drift when Tabitha was co-driving for Tyler Witte in an open light car. In August Tabitha co-drive with Cody Loveland in their Acura NSX, placing 2nd in the Unlimited Class at the running of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado. In November both Tracey and Tabitha attended the SEMA car show and Global Rally Cross event in Las Vegas and confirmed they would team up for 2013.
"I'm excited to be joining such a positive and experienced Team and have followed Tracey and her TRS team for the past couple years” commented Tabitha. She continued “I have admired their determination and understand the obstacles women face while running a motorsport company. Keep an eye out for the two blondes; I'm sure we will be more aggressive on the stages than we first appear!”
TRS is now taking on new challenges for the 2013 series, not only introducing a Toyota Yaris to the American series but also bringing the team to selected European events in 2013. More details will be revealed in the near future.
