Todd’s tragic death prompted the women to join forces, teaming up in a post-holiday E-book release called The Soulutions Project, issuing an urgent, online, holiday callout for immediate Soulutions (heartfelt words of advice and encouragement)
Boyle has been on a parallel path since founding Operation Beautiful in 2009 in efforts to help women and girls end negative self-talk. She anonymously pasted a post-it note that said “You are Beautiful” on the mirror of a public restroom - this small act started a viral movement, and Boyles’ adult book struck a nerve with woman around the country. This December, she is releasing her highly anticipated tween book, Operation Beautiful: One Note at a Time, touching on a range of topics from friendship and parents to puberty and healthy living.
Bryan and Daffron met Boyle when they interviewed her for their new book, Soul Models: Women Transforming Challenge to Change. Soul Models highlights the extraordinary stories of women who have used compassion to overcome hardship and transformed the world in the process. When Bryan and Daffron approached Boyle with The Soulutions Project, she immediately jumped on board.
For Bryan and Daffron, “What is happening to our youth is completely unacceptable and has to stop right now. We are incredibly grateful for Caitlin’s support because we know that Operational Beautiful: One Note at a Time is truly the preventative medicine for this devastating epidemic. As Caitlin’s movement to empower young girls continues to take hold, we feel blessed to offer all of these Soulutions as the antidote - it is really heartwarming to see her audience rallying to help. It is our goal to let everyone know that they are not alone in their battles, and that they have what it takes to help themselves and others. We urge anyone reading this to take a few minutes out of your day, join our mission and share a Soulution – each one of you has something to offer that has value, and your words could literally be life-saving to someone else. Share Caitlin’s new book with everyone you know, so young girls never reach a place of hopelessness. As moms and advocates, we cannot give up until we’ve made a difference.”
According to Boyle, “The situation is urgent, and Angela and Elizabeth realized that everyone, not just the women interviewed for Soul Models has Soulutions to share that can help others right now. I am incredibly proud of the outpouring of encouragement and amazing Soulutions coming from my audience in time for holiday. Our goal is to make this as big as it can possibly be, help as many people as we can, and donate profits to a cause that will help even more – we are posting them as they come in so everyone can benefit immediately.”
