Capital Yacht Charters - Virginia Jewel
-- Laurel, MD – Black Bag Productions and Capital Yacht Charters will co-host a Wedding Wednesday event aboard the Capital Yacht luxury vessel, the Virginia Jewel on Friday, March 8, 2013. “Wedding Wednesday has been an industry term for a couple of years now and when Capital Yacht Charters approached me with the idea, I jumped at the opportunity to work with them for this event.” notes Kim Moss, owner of Black Bag Productions. “When Black Bag Productions had us on their Blog Talk Radio show to kick off their 2012-2013 season of shows in August, we wanted to do something a little different and the idea of having the newlywed game cruise evolved,” says Johnnie Osborne, owner of Capital Yacht Charters based in Washington DC. “It’
s really a fun way to do the show,” says Moss, who has been doing on her show on Blog Talk Radio since 2009. “I came up with the Wedding Wednesday show as a way to build an audience and going live for a couple of shows was a natural progression for the show to take, so being able to do the show at larger, unique venues and events is the next step.”
The Newlywed Game Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Hour will take place on Friday, March 8, 2013 with a dockside welcome. Planners are currently working to get Newlywed Game
television host and, Emmy award winning co-host of ABC’s The View
, Sherri Shepherd, to be on hand and serve as game host. Debuting a new offering in their drink specialties line is Las Vegas based Dress the Drink (http://www.dressthedrink.com/
), who signed on as a sponsor immediately. “We love the concept of Wedding Wednesday and this is our third event working with Black Bag Productions, so we are thrilled with our continuing relationship,”
noted Cindy McClure owner of Dress the Drink.
The cruise will be the second Wedding Wednesday event for 2013, with the much anticipated grooms only “Cigars and Cufflinks Wedding Wednesday
™” event scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2013 and hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton in Crystal City, Virginia. Tickets are currently on sale for the cruise, which will give attendees the opportunity to taste fabulous food, dancing on the upper deck with a live DJ, and enjoy being audience members if they are not planning to play the game. For participating couples who wish to play, they must be married four years or less to play the game. “It’
s a great way to have fun and experience Capital Yacht Charters first hand, while making new friends and memories” says Dwan Walters, Capital Yacht Charter’s Sales and Marketing Director.
