Queens of Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar make 1st appearance at 34th Annual CDM Christmas Walk

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 30, 2012 - CORONA DEL MAR, CA – One of Newport Beach’s most anticipated events, the 6th Annual Miss Newport Beach Pageant and the Inaugural Miss Corona Del Mar, USA Pageants were held at the historic and newly remodeled (after 15 years of being closed) Port Theatre on Sunday, November 11th 2012. The Pageant included contestants ages 3 to 46 that graced the stage for the coveted titles of the Miss Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar Pageants. Contestants competed in four categories: Swimwear, Evening Gown, On-Stage Presence and Interview Questions.  

ABC’s The Bachelorette Season 7 Contestant Ryan Park and Miss Oregon USA 2004 Jennifer Murphy opened the event riding in on StreetStriders (world’s first elliptical cross trainer on wheels) where they later crowned the new title holders of Newport Beach: Mrs. Newport Beach 2013 – Robin Griffin, Ms. Newport Beach 2013 – Maryam Nasser,  Miss Newport Beach 2013 - Stephanie Demirjian, Miss Newport Beach Teen 2013 - Savannah Ellison, Junior Miss Newport Beach 2013 – Leila Bauer,  Little Miss Newport Beach 2013 – Ella Ulcickas, Miss Newport Beach Angel 2013 – Crystal Griffin.

Joining them with the first ever crowning of the queens of Corona Del Mar: Mrs. Corona Del Mar 2013 – Lindsay Nicole Rizzo, Ms. Corona Del Mar 2013 – Angela Leahy, Miss Corona Del Mar 2013 - Arielle Yuspeh, Miss Corona Del Mar Teen 2013 - Hailee Kathleen Harris, Junior Miss Corona Del Mar 2013 – Pamela Maldonado, Little Miss Corona Del Mar 2013 – Malia Maldonado and Miss Corona Del Mar Angel 2013 – Summer Griffin.

The venerated and celebrity judges panel, who selected the new queens included: Casey Reinhardt (Casey’s Cupcakes and Winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars), Mathew Kemper (GM and Director of Marketing at StreetStrider International), Julie Ann Ulcickas (Madam Manners and Owner of Bluewater Grill), Chelsea Autumn (Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker and Queen of Hearts), Deana Avila-Linn (HGTV Selling LA and former Miss California USA), Dr. Joseph Goodman, DDS (90210 Celebrity Dentist), Dorothy Dawn (R.D. and host of Food That’s Hot), Dr. Bahar Sedarati (Bahar Couture and Bahar Medical Group), Dr. A.
