Manassas Honda Shoppers Learn of Donations to Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief

American Honda Motor Co., Inc., has established special online channels to facilitate donations from Honda and Acura dealerships as well as for other suppliers and customers interested in helping out.

The “Friends of Honda” donation site is available at http://american.redcross.org/hondaacura-emp for Manassas Honda customers to access. American Honda announced on November 1, 2012, that they would pledge $500,000 to the Red Cross “Hurricanes of 2012 and Other Related Storms” fund to aid with recovery efforts in areas that were affected by the storm.

This donation is being used for immediate relief for those affected by the storm, and a special company fund also matched Honda’s corporate associates’ personal contributions to the Red Cross on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

Honda Participates in Hurricane Relief Efforts Through the Red Cross

The Red Cross and Honda have been in close communication to ensure that needs for materials and equipment are met.
