Meade Lexus' 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive to Benefit The Bottomless Toy Chest

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 30, 2012 - Join Meade Lexus in bringing smiles to local kids fighting cancer during their 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit “The Bottomless Toy Chest.”

The Bottomless Toy Chest, based in Birmingham, is devoted to delivering toys and crafts to local children to keep their spirits up as they undergo cancer treatments. And with your help, Meade Lexus wants to raise as many spirits as possible in time for the holidays.

Meade Lexus of Lakeside (http://www.lexusoflakeside.com) and Meade Lexus of Southfield (http://www.lexusofsouthfield.com) are each hosting a Holiday Toy Drive to begin Monday, November 26th. Each Meade dealership will be accepting donations for two weeks and then will round up employees to participate in a “Wrap Party,” where every collected item is gift-wrapped and prepared for patient delivery.

The toys are delivered to children at local hospitals, including Beaumont, St. John’s, and the DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. The Meade dealerships are conveniently located throughout Metro Detroit, hopefully helping to encourage community support from their surrounding areas.

· Dates: Accepting donations Nov. 26th-Dec. 19th, 2012.
· Drop-Off Locations: Meade Lexus of Lakeside (45001 Northpointe Blvd, Utica, MI 48315) and Meade Lexus of Southfield (28300 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48034).
· Donation Wish List: Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads, sound books, stuffed animals and puppets, rattles and squeeze toys, soft and cuddly blankets, push and pull toys, Legos, African American baby dolls and barbies, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Michaels gift cards, and sophisticated model-making kits (cars, planes, etc.)
