Car leasing company, AutoPlan, have managed to collect enough bras for the Breast Cancer Appeal Campaign before the end of October. The month of October was dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness and the people at AutoPlan aimed to smash the target of 300 set by McIndoe Surgical Centre last year.
After being made aware of the campaign by website and SEO Company, i3MEDIA, Andy Gibbins of AutoPlan decided he wanted to beat the previous target and managed to do so by collecting over 300 bras. There was a large range of bras handed over from the public in order to reach the intended target.
Director of AutoPlan, Andy said, “We are thrilled to be made aware of this fantastic opportunity. It’s always great to be able to give something back. It is claimed that one in five people are affected by Breast Cancer and we want to help lower that amount.”
McIndoe Surgical Centre were concerned they were not going to improve on last year’s target and Katy from the centre said, “We are over the moon that we have the support from such a fantastic team of people. We were concerned we were not going to hit the 300 target of bras this year, but with the help from Autoplan we have done better than we had originally hoped!”
Managing Director of i3MEDIA, Azeem Yaqoob added, “I think it’s great that we have been able to bring two of our clients together in this way to help raise vital funds for such an important charity.”
