SHANNON K. STEVENS JOINS THE PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING GROUP AS SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Seasoned Publicist to Help Grow and Foster Consumer, Beauty, and Legal Client Roster at the Firm

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Public Relations and Marketing Group, LLC (http://www.theprmg.com/) (PRMG), based in Patchogue, New York, is pleased to announce that Shannon K. Stevens has joined the firm as a Senior Account Executive.

A former Bellport resident who now resides in Medford, Ms. Stevens most recently held the position of Surgical Coordinator at Greenberg Cosmetic Surgery, a high-volume cosmetic surgery practice with offices in Woodbury, Manhattan, and Southampton.

She began her career in corporate and financial public relations and has represented organizations such as The New York Bar Association, as well as several prominent law firms and publicly-traded companies.  More recently, at M Booth & Associates in New York, Ms. Stevens was an integral part of the Vaseline (Unilever) and JCPenney teams.  Her role there allowed her to create and drive integrated campaigns (http://www.theprmg.com/services.html); develop brand messaging and strategy; media train clients and executives for television, radio, and web-based outlets; conduct before-and-after image and perception surveys; provide client counsel on a host of media-related issues; and handle crisis communications.  Ms. Stevens’ work on the Vaseline “Skin is Amazing” and “Skinvoice” campaigns received numerous PR industry awards.  Other past clients have included Crest Whitestrips (Procter & Gamble), Budweiser Select, Palmes d’Or Champagne, and Boots of Britain’s cosmetic lines.

Ms. Stevens received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She also obtained a New York State Esthetics License from The New York Institute of Beauty, which has locations in both Islandia and Syosset, NY.
