FOOTBALL 101 EVENT FEATURING FORMER NFL PLAYER WARREN POWERS FOLLOWED BY COWBOYS VS. EAGLES GAME WATCH AT GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY
WHAT: A Football 101 event featuring former NFL defensive end Warren Powers will be hosted on Sunday, December 2, 2012 by the MLGF Georgetown University student organization. The event kicks off with a presentation that takes attendees through the fundamentals of the football, followed by Warren Powers who will share his insights on the NFL from his perspective as a former player. Then at 8:20PM EST attendees will watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on longtime rivals the Dallas Cowboys live on the big screen while enjoying a Rockland's BBQ dinner and open throughout the game. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Septima Clark Public Charter School, a public all-boys charter school in Southeast Washington, DC. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.eventbrite.com/
WHEN: The event will take place on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 6:30PM to 11:00PM.
WHO: The event is open to the public over 21 years of age. Due to the open bar, we ask that attendees bring government issued identification such as a driver's license.Those who do not provide government issued identification will not be permitted to attend the event.

WHY: The purpose of the event is to teach attendees the basics of football and to share and socialize with others in a game-watching experience with their newfound knowledge. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Septima Clark Public Charter School which educates and prepares preschool to eighth-grade boys in Southeast Washington, D.C. for academic success and college.
