Padma Shri Dr. Pritam Singh, Director General of IMI commented, “We are pleased to have Mr. Agarwal with us to impart his knowledge as a man who has been romancing with limitless growth. The motivational talk by him has given an inspirational boost to budding entrepreneurs at IMI.”
On the occasion, a short film, “Partners in Prosperity” on the life of Anil Agarwal and Vedanta’s success story was screened for the students. Right through his talk, he emphasized on building entrepreneurial passion, taking risks and being fearless.
Guest Speaker Anil Agarwal said, “I am honoured to be invited by IMI and to contribute as a thought leader towards the students’ learning. My focus was on building a managerial personality, the pursuit of excellence and exploring rather that exploiting.”
Mr. Agarwal also shared his future plans to spend 70% of his time devotedly to child care and malnourishment problems and 30% for the company and its strategies. He ended the discussion on a heavy note that nothing is sure shot in life, you have to take the bull by the horns, believe what your heart says and go for it.
The students were left with the afterthought that they must take up challenges in life as that is what makes it worth living.
