High-end American Designer Sarine Marie's Fall/winter 2012-2013 Collection

Designing from an early age, Sarine Berberian was brought up in a family that was immersed within the fashion industry. "I remember my first design was in 2nd grade and my grandmother made my childish sketch come to life. I didn’t take designing seriously till I decided to start Sarine Marie.”

With an innate talent in fabrication and creative design, Sarine attended FIDM to expand her craft. Soon after her college experience Sarine created Sarine Marie, a high end women’s apparel line that caters to the everyday woman between the ages of 25-55.

Compared to DVF, Arkis Punto and Helmut Lang, Sarine Marie prides itself on its modern approach to garment construction, a pristine leather and wool technique and tailored garments. All of the international textiles derive from France, along with knitting and wool gabardine from Italy, and embellished fabrics from India. However, the majority of fabrics used in the Fall/ Winter 12-13 collection were purchased domestically.

With price points ranging from $50.00-$650.00, Sarine Marie has been seen on many notable celebrities and publications such as: Regard Magazine, Maiara Walsh, Kreesha Turner, Alisha Kosaka, Raine Magazine, Vedere Magazine, Ashlee Keating, Nora Gasparian and Tantalum Magazine.

Sarine Marie is currently located in several trendy boutiques in the Mid-West and greater Chicago area.

ABOUT THE SARINE MARIE FALL/WINTER 12-13 COLLECTION:
The Fall/Winter 12-13 collection was inspired by lady-like silhouettes. Sarine Marie plays on both a classic yet edgy element. Accentuating all body types and lifestyles, the collection is prone to add chic sophistication in every ensemble. The Fall I group consists of delicate, feminine fabrics and silhouettes with tailored jackets and outerwear.

Laces, virgin wool, silk, and wool gabardine in light feminine colors such as nude, black, nude pink, ivory, and gold are also combined mixtures in the fall collection. The second group of the fall collection is edgier yet still maintains a feminine air. With feminine silhouettes, tailored jackets, mixed fabrics and textures like leather, metallic, and various colored tweed, both groups of the fall collection display different sides of the Sarine Marie woman.
