Follow on Google News | Occupy Fulton County DA’s Office: Paul HowardAnger and outrage over teacher Kathy Durham Durdan non-arrest and the ability to contine teaching in Fulton County Schools almost one year after disabled youth, Aaron Hatcher’s death.
By: EOTM Public Relations Gerald E. Rose founder of New Order National Human Rights Organization initiated the protest on behalf of Ronald Hatcher, father of Aaron Hatcher, who was allegedly murdered at the hands of Fulton County Teachers Melanie Pickens and Kathy Durham Durdan. The father has filed a $10.5million lawsuit against his son’s school, claiming the ‘repeated abuse’ the 18-year-old special needs student suffered at the hands of his teachers led to his death. Aaron Hatcher, who had muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy, could not speak or walk. His father claims teachers at Roswell High School forced the teen to wear a homemade neck brace, causing physical and mental suffering. The father's attorney, Trey Sauls, said the tightened brace obstructed Aaron's breathing and contributed to his death last year. The group is seeking justice for Aaron and the firing of both teachers in the process. DA Paul Howard had previously scheduled a meeting with the group but has since canceled. It's the responsibility of the court system to take these cases and address them and give people their day in court," said Carla B., spokesperson for Ronald Hatcher, “we will protest until we get just that, Justice for Aaron." "We are on auto pilot and are going full steam ahead. We are rallying around Mr. Ronald Hatcher and his family. The New Order National Human Rights Organization is asking that you meet us in front of the Fulton County District Attorney's office every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. until the DA's office has rendered justice in this case," founder of New Order said in a recent statement. If you are not able to attend New Order urges you to make your voice be heard by calling Fulton County DA Paul Howard and asking about the case daily until an arrest is made at 404-612-4989, by fax: 404-893-2769 or email: Paul.Howard@ "Whatever transpires we will be there for the Hatcher family, they need closure in this case. People have to be held accountable for their actions or the lack thereof," Rose said.
