Bragging Rights Ahead: The First of only 250 Rare Cars Claimed

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 29, 2012 - Volvo has traditionally been known for safety over their 85 year history, but every once in a while they change the perception of what a Volvo can be. That is the case with the Volvo C30 Polestar Limited Edition, which packs 250 horsepower, wild “Rebel Blue” paint and special wheels. The car was developed in part, by Polestar, Volvo’s racing development partner. With only 250 being built, exclusivity is standard. Lehman Volvo sold the first C30 Polestar produced this month.

Jake Zimmerman had been researching the car and placed an order immediately after a C30 test drive at Lehman Volvo. “I was looking for a fun car that got good gas mileage” states Jake, who is a Mechanical Engineering student at York College. “I’ve always been around cars and I love what Polestar is doing with Volvo”. Zimmerman had traded a Porsches Cayenne on the C30, his first Volvo.

“We’ve had two very great stories this year that cover both ends of the spectrum”, states Dan Lehr, Marketing Manager for Lehman Volvo. “From one of our customers hitting a million miles in his classic 1987 Volvo 240, to a young and new Volvo customer ordering the very first C30 Polestar Limited Edition…you can start to see where Volvo is going in the future. Fun products that excite, yet still retain the traditional Volvo core values.” A documentary of Jake’s C30 Polestar has been produced and uploaded to Lehman Volvo’s Youtube channel.
