WinterParkLostPets.com Announces Launch of DearSantaPaws.com

Nov. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Tommy wants a toy truck and Suzie wants skates. But what do the family pets want? Now they can let “Santa Paws” know.

WinterParkLostPets.com and the Lost Pets Foundation today announced a new website where pets can email letters direct to Santa.

“Writing a note to Santa has been a Christmas tradition with children for generations, and now the family pets — with help from their owners, of course — can send notes to Santa too,” said Judy Charuhas, co-founder of WinterParkLostPets.com and the Lost Pets Foundation.

DearSantaPaws.com is a free website. Cats, dogs, hamsters, fish and family pets of all types are welcome to tell Santa what would get their tails wagging and fins swishing this holiday season. Pet owners and animal lovers can also send Dear Santa Paws a personal e-mail with their hopes and wishes for the holiday season and the New Year.

The free website includes a place to post a photo alongside the written message. Visitors to the website can read the letters. “Santa Paws has elves pre-screening the letters to ensure only family friendly content is posted,” said Ms Charuhas.

Visitors to the website can make a voluntary contribution to the Lost Pets Foundation if they wish. Founded in 2012 by WinterParkLostPets.com co-founders Shelley Heistand and Judy Charuhas, the Lost Pets Foundation in its first year provided free microchipping of pets, made monetary contributions to pet rescue organizations, and helped support the pet service community.

WinterParkLostPets.com (WPLP) s a free website for posting lost and found pets in Winter Park, Florida. WinterParkLostPets.com has helped reunite more than 500 local pets since its inception in 2009. In conjunction with the Lost Pets Foundation, WPLP sponsored the 2012 Winter Park Dog Walk and participated in other activities designed to raise funds for pets in need and increase awareness and understanding of pet-related issues.
