David Shulman is Professor and Head of the Anthropology and Sociology Department at Lafayette College. His publications addressing organizations and business focus on deception, ethnographic methods, impression management, consumer research and marketing, social psychology and workplace socialization. He served as the Work and Organizations Section Editor for Sociology Compass and participated in the Visiting Professor Program with the Advertising Education Foundation. He is the author of From Hire to Liar: The Role of Deception in the Workplace.
