Kasbah Angour is a spectacular, English owned and run*, boutique hotel built in the style of a Berber Castle with commanding views of the Toubkal Massif and her neighbouring mountains (yet is just 35 minutes from Marrakech Airport).
The hotel is offering four-night stays from 4 January to 28 February from just £299 pp (two sharing a room) full board including airport transfers.
Activities bookable through the hotel include full or half day’s guided walks, 4X4 drives, car excursions and camel riding.
There is also the opportunity to visit Marrakech but then retreat to the tranquillity of Kasbah Angour.
The hotel is fully-licensed, so that guests can enjoy a glass of fine Moroccan wine (owner Paul Foulsham takes pride in sharing his knowledge of Moroccan wines with guests) whilst enjoying delicious Berber meals prepared in the modern kitchen including lamb tajine with quince and beef couscous.
The hotel has manicured gardens and lawns with spectacularly colourful flowers and shrubs, whilst other parts of the grounds are dedicated to growing fruit and vegetables which are used by the kitchen staff when preparing fresh meals.
Direct flights to Marrakech are bookable online from a range of UK airports with BA, EasyJet and Thompson. Call +212 524 484 121 (www.kasbahangour.com).
*Kasbah Angour is owned and managed by an Englishman, Paul Foulsham, who fell in love with Morocco whilst working in the country in the 1980s. He built the hotel from scratch over 5 years, employing local Berber builders and craftsmen.
