Volunteer Opportunities Available for ArtiGras 2013

Nov. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- The 2013 ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival is looking for volunteers to help make the 28th edition of ArtiGras a most memorable one for both patrons and artists.  Volunteer applications are being accepted online at http://www.artigras.org for the festival which runs over Presidents’ Day Weekend, February 16-18, 2013.

“Our volunteers are the backbone of ArtiGras. They ensure the needs of the guests and artists are being addressed,” said Beth Kigel, President and CEO of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce producers of the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival. “We just could not put on a world-class event without our volunteers.”

It takes more than 1,200 volunteers to help produce and organize ArtiGras. Volunteers can choose one of three shifts per day in the following areas: ArtiKids Area & ArtWall, Parking/Transportation, Artist Relations, Site Operations, Volunteer Committee, Youth Art Competition Committee, Information Booths and Merchandising.

Volunteers also receive great perks including a free T-shirt, free admission to ArtiGras before or after their shift the day of volunteering, special parking and free food and beverages in the volunteer area.

The 28th annual ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival will showcase a juried exhibition of outstanding fine art and feature activities which include live entertainment, artist demonstrations, interactive art activities for all ages, a youth art competition and the opportunity to meet more than 250 of the top artists from around the world. Listed as one of the top 50 festivals in the country, ArtiGras 2013 expects more than 100,000 patrons over the three-day period.
