Tanya Sieliakus, CHRP, Obtains Safety Auditing Techniques Qualification

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 28, 2012 - HR pros incorporated, is pleased to announce that Tanya Sieliakus, vice-president Consulting Services, recently completed the Safety Auditing Technique course with Safety Services Nova Scotia.   This qualification will enable HR pros to help its clients set up their internal safety audit processes and prepare them for external audits.

According to the Worker’s Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, preventing workplace injuries is about more than just writing a safety policy, forming a JOHS committee or providing first aid training.  It’s about making a commitment to employees, customers, suppliers and community to continuously work towards a healthy and safe workplace.  The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia encourages employers to demonstrate leadership and commitment to workplace health and safety by becoming WCB Safety Certified.   HR pros will help its clients become WCB Safety Certified!

Occupational Health and Safety has long been a passion for Tanya Sieliakus.  She twice won the national John T. Ryan Safety Award for the mining industry.  She also received the ACCESS Nova Scotia award for creating an environment of inclusion, and the USG Award of Excellence.
