The campuses account for two of the three approved GED computer-based testing centers in Cuyahoga County.
According to GED Testing Service, the benefits of the computer test include easier online registration and scheduling, instant score reports for the majority of the test sections, the elimination of the need for test booklets and a shift towards a new GED assessment planned for 2014. People can also choose a location that’s the most convenient for them.
The cost to take all five parts of the computer-based GED is $120, regardless of where it is taken.
Applicants must register for a SAFE Account with the Ohio Department of Education prior to scheduling their exam.
“We’re honored to earn the approval from the Ohio Department of Education and serve as official testing centers,” said Gary Azotea, Remington-College Cleveland West Campus President. “It fits well with our mission of helping people achieve their education goals.”
