The task order award is to provide detailed engineering for AST’s Secure Passive Optical Network (Armored SPON™) to support both Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) users, SIPRNet Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)/Cross Domain Solution (CDS), and the building security Internet Protocol (IP) video/camera system. These services and technologies shall be extended throughout the home to the US Army's Network Enterprise Technologies Command (NETCOM) and 9th Army Signal Command as well as several other operational units relating to Army computer networks at Greely Hall, Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
