“Dr. Meadows is a strategic thinker who has an impressive track record in higher education and student outcomes," said Teresa Knox, CEO of Community Care College. "Her leadership skills, collaborative working style, and experience in career-focused education made her the best choice to join our academic and business teams, facilitating the advancement of the college’s mission and vision ensuring competitive sustainable advantage.”
In addition to creating employer-driven fresh content for new programs, Meadows will be evaluating curriculum content currently in place and working with each department to help the institution reach new heights. By coupling the college’s already robust content with the latest in digital content the institution is confident that student engagement will propel student satisfaction to exceptional levels.
Having received a doctorate in education from Oklahoma State University, Meadows has a rich work history that includes curriculum and program development, including writing curriculum, as well as decades of teaching at the university level.
It is this strong foundation in pedagogy that Meadows credits for helping to prepare her for this new role.
“I understand student learners, their needs, what gets [them] really interested in learning,” said Meadows.
As Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the company’s three college campuses, Meadows says she will be focused on making class content engaging for the learner and providing instructors with all the tools they need to ensure students have a meaningful education leading to exceptional employment opportunities.
