MultiView's technology projections for 2013

We live in a fast-paced world full of smartphones, smart cars, fast food and 85 mph toll roads. Information can be delivered with a touch of a screen. Pictures can be taken via mobile device and posted to Instagram or Facebook. But what is next?

Nov. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- The heartbeat of MultiView’s daily operations is technology. One can look around the office and find CISCO telephones, computer hardware and monitors, as well as other equipment used to power the company each day. The servers which power the computer network are quite a marvel to see.

It is amazing how technology connects so many people whether at work, home or on the road. It makes one wonder how society functioned 40 years ago without mobile devices.

iPads, iPhones and laptops, as well as other mobile devices, provide a seamless way for individuals and companies to conduct business. WiFi hotspots are now on almost every street corner.

In 2012, we saw the launch of such products as Windows 8 and the iPad mini. The year of 2013 is projected to be yet another big year for technology.

Gamers should be excited about the launch of the PlayStation 4 and XBox 720. Health advocates should be looking forward to the Basis Band, a watch-like monitor which is to be worn on the wrist to measure vital statistics, even sleeping patterns. Mozilla Firefox will also be introducing a new Operating System aimed at competing with Google and Apple’s current Operating Systems. Needless to say, this next year is going to be huge for innovation.

As it pertains MultiView's Buyer Guides, NewsBriefs and MultiWeb, technology will further fuel usage of the suite of products. Buyers and sellers will reap benefits since the products will be able to be accessed even faster.

AhHa, MultiView’s newest technology product, is a B2B search engine that provides more authentic search results than Google. It spans over 20 different industries and adds the endorsements of association partners to its search results. Powered by IBM’s Vivisimo, AhHa is another example of MultiView’s commitment to using only the latest and greatest technology.

According to Bob Kerr, Vice President of Information Technology at MultiView, 2013 is going to be a big year for the Company's technology department. "We will be implementing a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system along with a fully integrated interface to the ERP system for eCommerce transactions. These two projects will position the Company for expansion and growth," said Kerr.

In conclusion, technology has tremendously impacted the way people live and interact with each other. In the years ahead, society will see advancements in all aspects of technology, allowing us to further enjoy both our personal and professional lives. MultiView looks forward to evolving with future technological innovations.
