Thawer Ashcroft Crowne & Co Withdraws Offer to Purchase 49% of Trust Holdings Ltd (THL:ZM) Zimbabwe.

Nov. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- ATLANTA, GA (November 27, 2012) - Thawer Ashcroft Crowne & Co., Announced today that it has withdrew its offer to purchase up to 49% of stock at a premium of 35% of the last closing and purchase of US$100M credit enhanced bonds of Trust Holdings Limited. This decision was reached by the Partners of Thawer Ashcroft Crowne & Co after the executive management and board members of Trust failed to execute and deliver the revised agreements upon mutually agreed terms and conditions and provide necessary documentation for the purpose of due diligence.      

Rahim Thawer, Thawer Ashcroft Crowne & Company’s Managing Partner said “We believe that our vision as a major shareholder and a long-term financial sponsor in Trust may not have resonated well with the current management due to various internal constraints and inefficiencies at Trust. Our investment approach is based on competitive achievement basis and constant growth agenda with transparency and enterprise value creation for the shareholders, which we now believe may not have been parallel with current management of Trust.” Further to these comments, David Wong, Thawer Ashcroft Crowne & Company’s Analyst added “THL stock is illiquid due to a number of internal company agendas and challenges.  As a shareholder, I would be concerned with the direction of the company.”
