The Virtual ACT! User Group to Participate in ITPalooza Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 27, 2012 - Fort Lauderdale, FL… The Virtual ACT! Users Group will be participating in the ITPalooza  on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.  This first of its kind event is expected to attract over 1,000 members of various South Florida Tech Groups.  The event is sponsored by NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences.  Breakout sessions will begin at 2 PM and will be followed by a networking session.

Karen Fredricks, the woman who wrote the book (actually 7 books) on ACT! will be conducting a hands-on seminar highlighting the features of the ACT! E-marketing program.  . Attendance will be limited to 50 participants; prior registration is required at http://actemarketing.eventbrite.com

Attendees will have an opportunity to expand their usage of the ACT! by Sage software program by learning how to:  

Connect ACT to an E-Marketing Account
Segment a database for the best results
Create a plain text e-mail message
Edit an existing template
Write histories back into ACT
Create Lookups based on the results of a marketing campaign.
