Florida Hospital Fish Memorial & Macy’s Raise $4,000 for Breast Cancer Patients

Nov. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- SANFORD – In October, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial and Macy’s at Seminole Towne Center teamed up for Pink by Design, a private shopping experience that raised approximately $4,000 for breast cancer patients.

The event showcased a 2012 fall fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors as models, escorted down the runway by community leaders. In addition, the evening also included complimentary make-up consultations, pink hair extensions, fashion experts, complimentary gifts and gift drawings. Guests also had an opportunity to experience Photo Mingle, an interactive experience that brings together the features of a photo booth and guestbook and can immediately upload photos to Facebook.

During this event, five percent of sales throughout every department at Macy’s at Seminole Towne Center, 330 Towne Center Circle, Sanford, was donated directly to the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Foundation. The funds this event raised provided 30 screening mammograms for local women in need.
