today announced its “Rock Star” status, as credited by the global organization’
s headquarters in Alexandria, Va. The award was presented to the local chapter from a global spokesperson as part of the organization’
s Global Entrepreneurship Week.
To qualify for the award, chapters must meet 27 qualifications in six areas: presidential leadership, chapter learning, forum involvement, internal/external communication, financial health and membership value. As a reward for meeting or exceeding all the requirements, the chapter received a $10,000 check from EO’s global offices.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of EO, with events being held all around the world highlighting the growth of the organization’
s entrepreneur network and its role in the lives of members everywhere.
