JB Knowledge Park Organized Two Days Literary Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 27, 2012 - JB Knowledge Park organized two days intercollegiate literary event which comprised Debate Competition and Mock Parliament. The event was inaugurated with warm welcome speech by Dr. R.P Singh, Director - JB Knowledge Park. More than 100 students from colleges participated and made the event successful. Mr. Harshit Singh, Dean, coordinator –Ms.  Karishma Shukla and other faculty members were also present.

Dr. R.P Singh, Director - JB Knowledge Park said that youth needs to actively participate in Indian Politics. We have given them an opportunity to understand the working of Indian Parliament. This not only helps in builds understanding but also acts as a motivational factor.  Adding on this Mr. Harshit Sinha said that it helped students understand the value of education, culture and Political values.

The two day event was very energetic. The subject discussed in Mock Parliament was “Education System need Reform” and a strong debate took place under the topic Cultural Degradation and Technological Advancement”. In Parliamentary session the team was divided in ruling and opposition Party. Participants talked on the State and Central government education system. State Government gives more emphasis on regional language than English. It creates hurdle in competitions. Even emphasis was given on vocational learning. Under debate section students were able to create a balance between the use of technology and cultural importance. The conclusion came that it depends on an individual how he takes the advantage of gadgets and uses it in right direction.

Aravali College and JBKP won the competition in Parliamentary session. Sakhi from Arawali College won the best speaker award. In Debate Competition JB Knowledge Park and Arawali College Shared the 1st Position. 2nd position was grabbed by Echlon Institute. The teams’ performance was appreciated by Jury and faculty members. These two days were the days of learning.
