Priscilla Dames Addresses Winning Through Conflict at Book Signing

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 26, 2012 - Ms. Dames gives listeners and readers direction and antidotes to help equip them through life storms. She reminds us that we can still reach our dream mission and win big even through turbulence. Internationally, Ms. Dames has provided sessions to the women of Parliament in Zambia, administrators in the Bahamas and non-violence to ex- militants in Nigeria, Africa.  For the first time, she will publically discuss her dream mission of training soldiers in Transformational Kingian Non-Violence in the Nigerian Amnesty Program.  


Priscilla Dames, the founder and CEO of a conflict resolution company, Wingspan Seminars, has dedicated more than 20 years to the community as a business owner, educator, and community activist.   In recent years, the nationally certified crisis trainer and conflict resolution practitioner has provided workshops on topics such as Bullying, Sexism and Conflict in the Workplace. Internationally, Dames has spoken to the women of Parliament in Zambia and traveled from Kenya to Cuba learning how conflict is approached through a culture’s lenses.  

Dames serves in a number of organizations including the chairperson of the Women’s Business Council of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and has recently been recognized by the Women’s History Coalition with the Woman of

Impact Award.  March 4, 2012 was proclaimed Priscilla Dames Blake Day by Mayor Carlos Gimenez and the County Commissioners.  Guests will be toasting their WINS with champagne at Books and Books, 465 Aragon, December 8, 5:00-7:00!  Ms. Dames will be interviewed on Their Story IS Our Story UTV Channel 11-4 (Regular TV) on Dec. 1, 3:00 pm.
