SBPRA Signs eBook Deal with Handygo for Smartphone Distribution Throughout India

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 26, 2012 - NEW DELHI – Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency (SBPRA) has announced an agreement with Handygo for the distribution of its e-Book catalogue throughout India.

The Handygo deal will allow e-Books to be downloaded directly to smartphones, a cutting-edge approach to product delivery. The contract was a result of meetings begun at the New Delhi Book Fair 2012 and adds to SBPRA’s growing global distribution network for its authors and clients: similar distribution deals are already in place for China, Korea, Taiwan, and Russia.

Handygo is India’s leading provider of software and system enabling mobile value added services for video, messaging and interactive voice response. The company has launched RockASAP, a mobile retail platform to sell e-Books, with a portal that can be accessed by smartphones, GPRS enabled handsets, as well as tablets.

RockASAP.com’s search engine empower users to find for their favorite books from its database, including SBPRA’s catalogue of 700+ titles. All SBPRA titles will be available for download and sale for all platforms beginning in mid-December.
