Nov. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Precision Mixed Martial Arts in LaGrange, NY has been a long standing staple of the Hudson Valley martial arts world.  Producing champions at the pro and amateur level in a variety of disciplines including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing and muay thai Precision is recognized as one of the region’s top martial arts authorities. Precision is now bringing that same level of excellence to its new kids program.

The kids martial arts program at Precision is a healthy balance of the physical martial arts instruction of kicks, punches, takedowns and submissions along with life lessons focused on building healthy habits, proper manners, honesty, integrity, discipline and citizenship. The martial arts courses are specifically designed to combat many of the challenges facing Hudson Valley youth today such as bullying, childhood obesity, ADD and ADHD and type 2-diabetes through a combination of rigorous exercise and self esteem building lessons and activities.

The program is lead by Precision MMA’s head coach Brian McLaughlin.  A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Brian knows the challenges faced by kids growing up in the area and wants to make martial arts training a catalyst for positive change in the lives of Hudson Valley youth.  Brian is the Hudson Valley’s only professional mixed martial arts champion and a black belt in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  In addition to his grappling training coach Brian has also trained alongside world champions in muay thai, karate, boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts.  Students enrolled in Precision’s children classes will be the recipients of Brian’s 15 years of martial arts knowledge.
