PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 26, 2012 - Hot Air Balloons Light Hearts and Fill Bellies in Edgewood, NM.

November 25, Edgewood, NM - Hot Air Balloons from around the area will light up for a balloon glow and celebration at 6 PM on December 15 in Edgewood, NM's 1st Holiday Light Parade and Balloon Glow. The balloon glow will feature a dozen hot air balloons and other activities, including the the Moriarty High School Messengers choir holiday sing-a-long and a visit from Santa. The Edgewood Food Pantry and Edgewood Police Department will sell hot chocolate and other goodies to raise funds for the food pantry.

Admission is free; no tickets are needed. Donations for the food pantry are welcome. The Edgewood Soccer Field is located on State Road 344, ¼ North of Dinkle Rd. For more information on this event contact Edgewood Chamber of Commerce at 505-850-2523 or by email at info@edgewoodchambernm.com

Part of Edgewood's day long holiday "Hunt-n-Glow”, this inaugural event also includes a daytime scavenger hunt, holiday bazaar, parade, and balloon glow. 24 businesses in Edgewood and the East Mountain area, ranging from local artists and home based businesses to large stores like Walmart and Tractor Supply are participating. A single scavenger hunt winner will take home over $1000 in a giant prize package, featuring items from all of the participating stores and businesses. Pick up your treasure map and entry form at the chamber booth at Edgewood Elementary School, Dinkle Road and St. Hwy 344, starting at 10 am. The hunt-n-glow is free and open to the public.
