NYCC has been providing free services for victims of child abuse and their families in New York City since 1995. The center offers medical examination, evaluation, therapy, crisis intervention and counseling, as well as educational programs for healthcare professionals.
To brighten the season for NYCC’s children, the NYCC Junior Committee and Gansevoort Hotel are providing attendees with a heartfelt invitation to the holiday fundraiser and cocktail party. Guests will enjoy the holiday spirit at the glamorous Gansevoort Hotel with libations from Wine, Inc., silent auction and the Children’s Wish Tree, decorated by the children served by NYCC. Guests may take home a handcrafted ornament by the end of the night for a small donation.
NYCC Junior Committee’s generous sponsors for the silent auction include the Dorchester Collection, a bespoke wine experience from Mr. Aristotle in Paris, tickets to Knicks & Giants games, a Greenwich Hotel spa experience in TriBeCa, a deluxe stay at Chiva Sam luxury lodge and spa in Thailand, and dining experiences at the James and the National just to name just a few.
"NYCC is delighted to have the Junior Committee working in tandem with NYCC to deliver as much support and funding as possible to benefit children in New York City who have been abused. The Junior Committee is a vital and energized team of young people, who work throughout the year to build funds and awareness for NYCC," said newly appointed Executive Director, Beth Finkelstein, who will provide remarks at the event.
