Nov. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- mee healthcare announces the launch tomorrow of its fourth and largest centre to date. The new 3,000 sq. ft. vision and hearing centre - ‘see mee’ and ‘hear mee’ – is located in the newly launched Sainsbury’s Superstore at Hardwick Roundabout, Kings Lynn.  Dental Care, ‘dental mee’; and wellbeing care, ‘Wellbeing’ mee – will be launched at the centre in the coming months, providing high quality and affordable dental and wellness care, as well, to our patients.

Dr Gail Lese, Founder, Chairman and CEO, of mee healthcare, said:

“It is an honour and a pleasure to make sure that everyone has access to high quality and affordable healthcare.  That is our commitment at mee healthcare.  Due to the very strong demand by customers for mee services and products at our first three centres in Leeds, Ely, and Cheltenham, I’m delighted that we are continuing to extend our relationship with Sainsbury’s and are able to bring mee healthcare to Kings Lynn. Our centres are designed to provide our customers with essential healthcare services at accessible prices and in convenient locations, with extended opening hours.”

“mee healthcare is a new approach in the delivery of healthcare; enabling customers to benefit from a range of services at accessible prices including hearing, vision, dental and health checks, provided by state-of-the-art, one-stop clinics at convenient locations. By combining these services under one roof, mee healthcare aims to provide the highest quality customer service, and to support better outcomes and earlier detection of underlying health issues for our patients.”

Dr Lese further commented:

“In addition, mee healthcare is committed to serving the people and the communities in which it operates. We are proud to announce today, as we have done with other openings, mee Healthcare will be donating ten per cent of the first week’s trading turnover to two local charities.”

mee healthcare will be making donations to AgeUK Norfolk www.ageuk.org.uk and West Norfolk Befriending www.wnbefriending.org.uk.

Suzanne Handsley, Head of Fundraising for Age UK Norfolk, said:
“We are delighted to have been chosen to receive this boost to our funding. In West Norfolk we are currently developing two new volunteer initiatives, 'Good Neighbour Groups' and 'Volunteer Community Mentors' and the donation will really help us to further our work.”
Pippa May, Befriending Manager at West Norfolk Befriending, said:

“The news of this donation is a lovely surprise, especially as it coincides with our tenth anniversary. The money donated will go a long way in helping our work supporting older isolated people in West Norfolk. In the last year we have supported around 60 local people, and our service continues to be in great demand."
