Learning Center Helps Children and Parents

Nov. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA– The school year is in full swing and children are fully immersed in their learning. As the years pass children face more difficult challenges on their road to graduation day. For the children that struggle with learning, these are the times when they begin to slip further and further behind.

As parents we do our best to help our children move forward with their school work but it is not always possible. Busy careers and the demands of maintaining the home cut into the amount of time we can spend with our children mulling over their books or maybe our children have advanced into areas of study that we have long forgotten. Whatever the case, providing the support and understanding our children needs can sometimes be difficult for parents despite our best intentions.

The Reading Clinic has been providing quality academic tutoring (http://www.thereadingclinic.com) to the children of the greater San Francisco area since 1997 and is now offering that support to parents as well. The Reading Clinic is offering a series of webinars to help parents better understand the challenges facing their children.
