Light House Studio and Nikon Announce Workshops

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 26, 2012 - Light House Studio Dubai in association with Nikon is set to host two photography workshops this December. The first course on Lighting Photography for Fashion and Glamour photo shoot will be held on the 4th and 5th December 2012 from 10am to 6pm. The 2-Day intensive workshop session is priced at Dhs. 2,000 and the course will cover different lighting techniques and setups used for fashion and glamour photo shoots, covering various sources of natural and artificial lighting as well as manipulation for ambient light.

The workshop will offer practical hands on experience and explore different studio lighting techniques and situations. Participants will perform test assignments in varying environments as well as mock setups with real models and crew. The course will cover indoor and outdoor lighting allowing participants to be exposed to natural lighting thus identifying unique aspects of photography techniques by Professional Photographer.

Led by Brett Florens, an award winning wedding photographer and the brand ambassador of Nikon, the 3-Day Wedding Photography workshop will commence from 6th to 8th December 2012. This intensive course will start from 10am to 6pm and costs Dhs. 3,000 covering all aspects of wedding photography. Topics will cover understanding of a wedding photo shoot, taking brief; from arranging a form kit to marketing and targeting high-end weddings, the training will also highlight client management, wedding day and photo selections. With the assistance of simulated wedding with models, the training will cover lighting, angles and creating a memorable wedding album. Both workshops conclude with a comprehensive session of post-production and post-wedding sales.

Post shoot, students will also be trained on the post-processing methods such as the Photoshop. On Friday, 7th December 2012 Light House Studio will also host a Nikon Night from 6pm to 8pm with Brett Florens who will introduce the latest Nikon DSLR Cameras demonstrating its photography and video capabilities. Whether a hobbyist, digital beginner or pro-photographer, Nikon Night will offer hands on experience with the new Nikon cameras and lenses. Photographers can have FREE camera sensor checking and cleaning as well as receive giveaways from Nikon. The fee for the evening is Dhs.30 all-inclusive.
