Nov. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Brades, Montserrat - In a few months the way Caribbean businesses connect with their consumers through the web will be dramatically redefined. There will be a deluge of new domain name extensions, giving brands more control over their presence online.

ZapSocial, a Caribbean based company with it's mission being to help brands and businesses succeed with a web, mobile and social presence will play a big role in spreading the news about the endless possibilities created by the new gTLDs.

President of ZapSocial, Warren Cassell Jr says, "With more than one thousand extensions coming, consumers no longer have to settle for a name just because it’s the only one available. A variety of options including .law, .blog, and .web will transform indistinct URL addresses to memorable destinations."

Through social networks, blogs, email marketing and conferences ZapSocial will make businesses aware of the new extensions and the branding and marketing opportunities they will soon have.

In addition, Chupz.co, a subsidiary of  ZapSocial and a leading West Indian provider of domain names is preparing it's customers to take advantage of the historic launch with it's watchlist feature which allows anyone to get a chance to grab their desirable new domain names as soon they become available.

Cassell says, “Having a prominent presence will allow Caribbean businesses and brands to understand what will be possible and how their plans must be guided, not by what exists but the possibilities for a different paradigm"
