This workshop will be held at Bella Prana from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday December 8th, the cost is $20 per person to attend. Each attendee will be given handouts and an in depth look at seven essential yoga poses to activate the energy centers of the body.
Activating the Chakras is the sequel workshop to The Chakras in Yoga, which was presented by Belyea in September of this year. That workshop had eighteen attendees which filled one of the two available teaching rooms at Bella Prana.
“I am so excited to return to Bella Prana to teach this second workshop. The first workshop went over so well and everyone really enjoyed the content. After studying the Chakras for six years, Bella Prana made it so easy to share what I’ve learned. Roni is so great to work with and she has such a beautiful space, I am so thankful to be able to teach there twice now.” Belyea states.
On the Bella Prana blog Belyea’s guest blog states “The Chakras teach us about how our internal reality manifests our external experiences. In yoga we strive to come into union (yoga = union), so when the external environment of relationships, work, or physical health is out of balance yogis can turn to the Chakras as a road map to understanding the correlation between their internal experience of life with the external symptoms they experience.”
Belyea has been a Reiki practitioner for six years and has been studying the Chakras as an extension of his energy work practice. He has been a yoga student at Bella Prana for over two years and is enrolled in Bella Prana’s Teacher’s Training facilitated by Jennifer Leavy of Pose by Pose Yoga.
In addition to providing Massage, Reiki, and Reflexology sessions at Massage Redefined, Belyea also teaches Reiki at his Wednesday night Reiki Circles and Florida Board of Massage Therapy approved Reiki Trainings where he covers the Chakras.
