J.E. Barrett is a member of the active duty military who has experienced a great many things in his life. From pouring concrete, to bailing hay in the Midwest, to being an Athletic Trainer for professional athletes, to parachuting out of military airplanes he has seen a lot. He is a four time combat veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq who attended both high school and college at Quaker institutions. He has known people from the town drunk and speed freaks to world famous orthopedic surgeons and the presidents of corporations. He draws on his experiences to bring his works to live and keep the reader on an edge of their seat ride.
