The study was published in the September to October edition of Archives of Facial Plastic surgery. The study was done by making a survey around 98 individuals who had forehead or brow lift procedures. All except 4% were women and was around the age 60. All the procedures were done in the year 1994 up to 2007.
63% of the patients revealed that they would gladly undergo the procedures all over again. Meanwhile 18% of the participants told the researchers that they wouldn’t. Another 18% were not sure. Also, similar results were reported when they were asked whether or not they would recommend the procedures to other people.
“Of course, patients need to take more into consideration than survey numbers and their friends’ advice. You should always speak with a board certified plastic surgeon while in the planning stages to make an informed decision,” says one researcher.
“The ultimate patient satisfaction, that’s what every plastic surgeon aims for,” says a plastic surgeon from http://psiatlanta.com/
The most important thing here according to experts is that patients should go to the right persons to get the right job done. Some procedures aren’t minor in nature and patients should prepare especially at the recovery period where they really need to take some rest. Also, going to the right persons or experts will ensure safety to the patients.
