Instant Checkmate is committed to meeting the needs of both our customers and team members. We understand that people want to be with their families during the holidays, and so do our devoted team members. To accommodate the surge in public response this holiday, we posted a sign up sheet for call center employees to volunteer to work. The response was overwhelming, and we quickly built a willing staff to work through the holidays. Instant Checkmate will reward their dedication with a bonus pay during the holiday shifts as a thank you to their dedication.
Our customer service representative Michael Smith says, “We chose to make working on Thanksgiving completely voluntary for our team members. We passed around a signup sheet and that was that, but with the extra pay and short work day, we ended up being flooded with requests to work on Thanksgiving.”
Phone line operator Lisa Johnson explains why team member were so eager to sign up and work. “ I mean, the extra pay is great, and we still get off work at 2pm, which is plenty of time to go home and still have dinner with your family. It’s win/win.”
The limited hours and select number of staff will only apply to Thanksgiving day. On Black Friday, our customer service center will return back to standard operations. We will reopen on Friday morning and maintain our usual business hours of 5am to 10pm Pacific Standard Time. In order to meet our customer’s evolving needs, our call center maintains these extended hours seven days a week. However, we are now announcing our hours for holidays later in season as well.
Our hours of operation have been set for the remainder of the holiday season as well. We would like our customers to please note that our call center will be closed on Christmas Day as well as New Years Day. Customers will still be able to connect with us on those days by email, through the Instant Checkmate Facebook page., or the Instant Checkmate Google + page. Other holidays with limited hours of operation include Christmas Eve, when we will be taking customer calls from 6am to 3pm, and New Years Eve from 5am to 6pm.
