PRLog - Nov. 22, 2012 - Above sentiment is what brought world-renowned representatives to the 7th LPG Trade Summit hosted by CMT last week on 12-13 November in Istanbul to evaluate international market dynamics, present, and future status of global LPG market.
7th LPG Trade Summit
Mrs. Bayegan opened the conference, detailing her company’s status in the industry and that of Turkey. She said, “Bayegan has been in the oil and petrochemical sector since the year 1940. With its 23 offices worldwide, Bayegan is the only international company of Turkey dealing with oil and petrochemicals and derivatives.”
Another contributor at the conference was Mr. Cemalettin Tuney, Head of LPG, Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), Turkey, who explained in detail the status of Turkey in the energy field and the facilities they provide. The Trade Director of Bayegan, Mr. Emin Imanov, then highlighted the dependence on the petrochemical sector in Turkey, in particular the “use [of] LPG gas as raw material and where these goods are supplied from.” This is crucial as petrochemical producers in Europe are expected to import Ethane gas from USA starting 2015 to remain competitive.
Besides above authorities from Bayegan and EMRA, other industry expert speakers at the 7th LPG Trade Summit were:
Mr. Michael Panas – POTEN & PARTNERS Consultant

Just as it had been for the last six years, there was definitely enthusiasm and optimism among the delegates, speakers and exhibitors, who concurred that the quality of the discussions and the networking opportunities were, once again, the most valuable reward gathered from the 1.5 day event – all made possible thanks to the excellent speaker panel and Platinum Sponsor, Bayegan, who hosted an exclusive gala dinner at the historical Galata Tower for all attendees.
Encouraged by the continued success, CMT is now putting together the 8th LPG Trade Summit to be held on 12-14 November 2013 at Doha to once again reunite leaders of the industry and present insightful market trends and opportunities updates.
