In each of the treatment rooms, Nitzkin has also added intra-oral x-ray cameras, TVs and noise canceling headphones with Pandora music stations to enhance patient comfort and relaxation.
“We are excited with the growth of our new facility and to better serve our patients by reducing wait time and offering extended hours to accommodate their busy schedules,” Nitzkin said.
“We have been working on this expansion for a year and look forward to exceeding our patient’s expectations,”
On Thursday, Nov. 29, from 1- 2 p.m. the office will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony with Livonia Mayor Jack Kirksey and local business owners. The event also will feature a tour of the office as well as appetizers and beverages. The event is open to the public.
Livonia Dental Care has been serving the Livonia and surrounding area for over 21 years. Nitzkin established his first practice in 1990 at Five Mile Road and Middlebelt with only three treatment rooms. In 2001, the practice moved to its current location with five treatment rooms. With this year's expansion, Livonia Dental Care will have nine treatment rooms.
“It has been amazing watching the growth of our practice,” Nitzkin said.
Office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday 8-5 p.m. and selected Saturdays 9 a.m.-noon.
