Through the annual Room For Dinner initiative, Storage Village donated a Thanksgiving meal to a family in need for each unit rented November 1-15. The company pledged a minimum of 75 meals, and is proud to say that they broke that minimum.
“Storage Village Self Storage is thankful that we are able to help 86 families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal by providing them with Thanksgiving Dinner.” -L. Goldberg, President Storage Village Self Storage
Each Storage Village location partners with an organization that directly meets the most pressing needs of the storage’s immediate community. This year, Storage Village partnered with Beans & Bread, Severna Park Assistance Network, the National Center for Children and Families, So Others Might Eat, and Western Fairfax Christian Ministries. Each of these non-profit partners distributes the meals to the families in our community who need them most.
Storage Village’s annual “Room for Dinner” campaign is just one of the many ways they express their gratitude for the community they serve. In addition to donating food themselves, each store encourages their tenants to donate by hosting a year round canned food collection center to provide a constant source of alleviation of hunger for their neighbors.
Storage Village is proud to be an active member in their community. As “the trusted home for your possessions,”
