Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Guest speaker, Pastor Bill Davis, a Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient and author of “Twice Dead, Now I Live” delivered a message where he briefly shared his personal combat experience, being mortally wounded and presumed dead, and how God’s healing power allowed him to walk away from the hospital just months later.

“As I jumped for my hole, a mortar round exploded in front of me. Instantly, I had entered the realm of life after death and did not know it. Hope was leaving while doom and despair set in. Suddenly I knew I was lost. Conscious awareness began slipping away while dizziness and wooziness took over... then everything became pitch black. I remember looking back at my body and will never forget that feeling of untold terror that literally shook my being. There was no doubt that I was tasting a small portion of the place called Hell as I felt an indescribable aloneness overwhelm my being. I cannot explain how I came to survive. I only know that God was with me and continued to heal me over the course of the next several months. To look at me today, you would never know that my right cheek and jaw were demolished. God has amazing healing powers and he can heal you, too.”

The true story about the "life after death experiences" of Bill Davis causes many to examine their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, which ultimately sets the stage for eternity.

“One of the best testimonies I've ever heard - and I've heard a lot! Riveting. And worship was off the hook. Great service!” – Ken Ralston

The 9:30am and 11:30am services closed with a tribute and recognition being presented by Senator Kirk Pearson, State Representative Elizabeth Scott and Dr. Bob Lantrip (Point Man Ministries, Yakima, WA) to over 40 Veterans:
